I worked with VIP during the construction of our house. They hung our doors, which consisted of just about every type of door you can think of, pocket doors, pivot doors, bifold closet doors, regular doors, a barn door, hidden doors. They installed the door hardware for each of these doors, which had another level of difficulty because of the weight (one door weighed more than 400lbs) and the nature or German engineering for some of the pivots and hidden hinges. AND they installed the most impactful moments in our home. I am so grateful that they were the group to do it. There was next level detail taken into consideration and thoughtfulness that came to many areas of our home. One of the moments I would like to highlight is a hidden entry coat closet with mahogany clad, gain matched, tongue and grove pattern (see photo). There is a feeling in my home when I walk by these moments and you just know they were done right. During the construction of our home we worked with many carpenters and subcontractors. Out of the entire bunch VIP was my favorite contractor to work with. Communication was easy, they were always professional and stuck to their word, pricing didn't change, timeline didn't change. Viktor has a great energy. I remember walking through our home, mid construction, mid install for Viktor. He took the time to tell me what he was doing, why he was doing the cut this way and that way, why the install was scheduled like it was. No question I had was too small and he took the time to explain the process. They listened to my ideas (I wanted a light wall wash above our bi-fold doors), they shared feedback and we talked about how it can be done. They do things the right way. I have a lot of confidence in VIP's work, I refer VIP every time I have someone looking for a top notch, woodworker/carpenter. VIP Construction, really hits all the marks. I am including photos of items that VIP installed. These are not all of the items, but I think enough to illustrate the caliber of work they do. Photos included: mahogany clad stairwell, custom handrail to match mahogany clad stairwell, a mahogany slat screen added for texture and privacy, hidden entry coat closet, solid oak pivot door install of door and hardware which includes a pivot, mahogany ceiling beams.Mary MiddelburgDecember 18, 2023It’s hard to summarize the outstanding experience we’ve had with Viktor and VIP but I will start with that it’s been rare for us to work with a company that has their level of professionalism and craftsmanship. We have a 6,000 square foot home and needed a construction company to help with a full house renovation project. Our project included very detailed “wainscotting”, or wall paneling, and it’s there that we started with Victor and VIP. We were working with an interior designer who contacted VIP and outlined the project. From the very first meeting we knew that Victor was a true craftsman. Since then, we have been working with VIP on many projects, both here in the front range and in the mountains, and have come to realize there is literally nothing they can’t do or oversee. They were extremely efficient and in & out in one day. The only negative is they left the nail holes empty & did not caulk in certain places because we are planning on painting it. Viktor told me our painter would handle it, however it seemed unfinished in that regard. If I hadn't mentioned we were planning on painting I wonder if he would have done the caulking. Viktor built the desk, the benches, the bookshelves and an additional large built-in clothing armoire in a bedroom. They do beautiful work and extremely thoughtful, timely, tidy, efficient and Viktor has a strong sense of design and he is wonderful to work with on any project or piece.
